ON HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATIONS
cool dad: i ask about the homeowners thing b/c i’ve actually had to do yardwork. they’re cracking down
starlite: i like yardwork but i cant really do it with both babies on leashes and a weedeater
cool dad: they recently sent out a letter outlining what they would start checking for
cool dad: CM said that they probably just stood outside our house when they made their list
justmatt & amywrites: yes, babies & power tools don’t mix.

ON COOKIES
cool mum: i think i ate too many cookies…don’t feel too good now…think it’s bedtime (even starting to talk like cookie monster)

cool dad: wow, she’s even rolling her eyes around like Cookie Monster (another CM). i shouldn’t have used those old eggs

ON UNWELCOME BABY TOUCHERS
justmatt & amywrites: it’s true – there is an entire category of people who just touch babies without permission.
cool dad: what do you do when people go for the baby touch w/o permission?
starlite: i tell them that they have leprosy (the babies)
justmatt & amywrites: when mine were really little, i would say something like “we’re prone to illness”
starlite: really, I just say, please don’t touch them

ON LITTER BOXES OF THE FUTURE
Chad Wright: Speaking of poop, my wife bought a robotic litter box. I fear the robotic uprising is starting.
Randy: be careful my friends had one, then they got spoiled and then it broke. the poop piled up for days after that
cool dad: i have not heard of this robotic litter box
cool dad: do little robot legs kick litter over the cat droppings?
Chad Wright: It has a robotic arm that scoops up the poop and dumps it in an enclosed container.
Chad Wright: It’s actually pretty cool.
Chad Wright: Until a cat gets caught in it, which I’m sure will happen.

ON VISITING BLOG FRIENDS
cool dad: i wish we could visit you guys. never been to Oregon
