Last April featured a landmark moment in the history of our blog: the revelation of our identities. For the two years up until then, Cool Mum and Dad were anonymous except to our close friends who followed the blog. It was the beginning of greater days for AWSC?
However, the blog’s presence, in terms of traffic and subscribers, has not grown since the summer of 2009. Let’s completely and conveniently ignore the fact that posting fell off a cliff last fall when moving, job changes, and pregnancy bombshells hit near-simultaneously, causing life to become what sociologists call “all jacked up.”
We wish to regain our prior momentum and growth, so today marks another landmark moment in the blog. We regret to announce that Are We Still Cool? is hereby returning to anonymous status. We are revoking our identities, so we hope that you and future readers will think of us as the mysterious Cool Fam, circa March 2009.
Now, for those of you who know who we are, we just ask you to look briefly into the red light:
