It’s almost been a year since the last tour of a Cool Fam apartment, the infamous one-room, 200 square-foot Cool Studio. After that, we spent six months in the 5th floor, no elevator Cool One-Bedroom. We wanted to give you a tour and show the glee I experienced hauling our stroller up and down four flights of stairs, but it never happened.
To make up for that, here is a tour of our new place that we share with two roommates, the Cool Duplex, put to our favorite new song.
There’s a reason behind this other than us completely losing it. If you don’t get it, here’s the joke.

good thing you had a song, i bet there was so much cracking up! this is hilarious!!! the apt is huge by the way!!!!!
We had fun!
Many thanks to Sesame Street’s ‘Follow That Bird’, which kept CB entertained during filming.
as the camerawoman, i often had to look at the preview screen using peripheral vision to make sure CD was in view…otherwise the camera would start shaking as i tried not to laugh
We have the weirdest senses of humor.
now that i saw the other video, you hit it to a t!
Thanks! I could’ve done better, but I don’t think we’re eligible for an MTV VMA anyway.
if only we could’ve had time for CD to grow out his sideburns a little more
Man…we could’ve just taped some rat fur to my face!
You guys are NUTS!!!! This was hysterical.
I have NO idea how many takes it took to capture all this footage but I’m sure they involved LOTS of laughter. You should make an “outakes” video with you laughing… as if you have nothing better to do with your time.
We had fun, but we were all business, too. We had to be because we were trying to finish to go sing karaoke for Cool Mum’s birthday!
Had to watch twice so we actually saw the video since the first one was clouded by laughing tears…haha
Awesome!
You guys are the coolest. That was hysterically funny. I hope I didn’t wake up Addie with my laughing, but it would be worth it!
Addie is so good, I don’t think it’s possible to wake her up at an inconvenient time!
Wow. That was weird. You were like a bad animations character from 1980’s Disney World. It was really difficult for me to watch. You captured the same “man this is too embarrassing – I’ve got to turn this off” as Micheal Scott often does. Creepy.
Seeing the original does save a few lost cool points though. Creepy.
Glad we could creep you out from across the ocean. Still got it. *high-fives self*
Gotta hand it to you, CD!! I didn’t know you had such a lovely baritone voice! lol Love the duplex. It definitely is an upgrade from the Cool Studio.
OK, definitely one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while…
Thanks for the tour; I’m always fascinated to see how/where New Yorkers live.
