We were scared when our friendly family of renting neighbors moved out and the young, tattooed, mohawked, motorcycle-riding home-owner moved in. A loud bunch of guys showed up to help him get moved in, and we were on our computer, looking for a new place!

Turns out, we didn't find a place.

But our neighbor is one of the nicest guys we know. He's trustworthy, QUIET, and helpful. Our kids adore him. Perfect person to live next door to!

Don't judge a book by its cover.

Sorry to hear about the stressful neighborhood situation. Maybe this can be your mission field - showing God's love to your next door neighbors.

Yup. I live in a quiet suburb of a Midwestern city and yet - two guys fresh out of jail bought the house across the street from us. I don't really feel as safe with them living there. Which is especially annoying considering that we forget to lock the front door every now and then.

Also, three houses across from the side of our house (we live on a corner) have become rentals. And people are constantly in and out of those places. Our newest neighbors on that side are very noisy and one night I actually had to walk over and ask them to please turn their music down. They didn't hear me at first, over the music and the yelling. Then when they did hear me, they insisted that it wasn't that loud. I wasn't too scared...but maybe just a little, since it was dark and Mark was at work.
