Good message in that entry, Eric. But FYI: I will be COMPLETELY depressed if I do not encounter any stars while in NYC with CM. You guys have met a good handful (or two) of celebs so I’m feeling pretty optimistic. And regarding Sue’s entry above: My friend in high school had a father who was an exact replica of Stephen King. No lie. So it’s likely that it may have been Mr. Dickinson sitting behind you on the plane, not Stephen King.

Whoa!!! OK, yeah, I know he’s just a person…but JIM HALPERT!
The only celebrity I’ve ever spoken to is Art Linkletter. I just said “hi.” My dad (a pastor) chatted with him about the ministry (Linkletter’s adoptive father was a pastor, as well).
Stephen King once sat in the seat behind me on a flight to Maine, but I didn’t talk to him. It was a little nervewracking, having Mr. Horror Novel just a few feet away.
