I have a long way to go before I can convert to the "bag on a hinge" system, but at least there'll be no more plastic laundry detergent and kitchen/bathroom cleaner bottles with my name on them in landfills! This is what we end up doing when we visit my mom's house, as her garbage can is under the sink with all the poisonous cleaning supplies, so we have to put on the safety latch. I'm too lazy to undo that every time I want to throw something away, so we just set up a bag. WFMToo! Ha- classy is right!
