i think the key was living larger portions of our lives outside of the apartment. why would you want to be in the apartment when nyc is just outside your door anyway? i have to admit this was a little more difficult when the weather was in the teens though. brrrr we did pop our drug of choice (various forms of chocolate) to get us through the frustrating times.

The new place is a bit bigger, yes. Its bigness will be revealed in the much-demanded tour of the new place.

It’s still amazing how messy the Cool Studio got. I’d like to think that CB was more responsible for that than we were.

It was actually quite simple.

We HAD to live in Manhattan. This was like the only place we could afford in the neighborhood we wanted.

And we signed the lease. Actually, rents are amazingly low right now (for NYC). Come on over – even if only for a little while, you’ll never forget (or likely regret) it!

I have an insane fascination with NYC (you guys are living my dream), so I totally enjoyed this!
I’m curious if living in the cool studio changed your cooking habits much – doesn’t look like there’s a whole lot of room to cook in the kitchen…

So, I’m late to comment here, and I’m laughing – the whole time I was watching, I was thinking, “Wow! You’ve really come a long way from not telling us your name. Now you’re showing us your address and your apartment?!?” And then you said you’re moving. Aha!

So, how about your new place? Is it a bit bigger?

I will say that the good thing about a small home (although, I will freely admit, mine is not as small as yours!) is that it takes less time to clean!
