We are feel excited and renewed about our little blog. The new platform, layout, and newly-outed authors allow miles of freedom that we never had before. Here are some cool things that the new AWSC? has going on.
Threaded comments. I love this Wordpress theme, but soon discovered that it doesn’t support the threaded comments (replying to specific comments to create conversation threads) that Wordpress 2.7 already has. Instead of switching to a different theme that could, I started pounding the pavement of Google. After hours of searching and trial-and-error, I finally got threaded comments working here. Now, I’m just waiting for some conversations to develop to see them in action!
Commenter rewards. The Coolest Commenters module to the right will keep a monthly tally of the most active commenters. A fun reward will go to the most active commenter every month.
Pictures of our actual faces. Surprisingly, we have lots of pictures of us that have our faces in them, instead of just our feet or backs. So, that opens up a whole new treasure trove of pictures that we can use here.
More collaborations and games. Now that we can be more open about who we are, we can have much more fun around here. Silly ideas to come.
What do you want to see around here? How can we make this a more engaging, entertaining, and encouraging environment for you? More sermon-like alliterations perhaps?

Seriously, I like the threaded comments a lot. I’ve noticed Tam and Mandy have this feature or plug-in or whatever you fancy WP bloggers call it. And I like it.

I have a hard time telling what’s new, but that might just be because my visits are too infrequent.
Other than that, it’s all awesome and really, really cool. I like the posts about parenting – specifically in the No One Told Us category – and posts about how the Gators are the greatest team in the land.
Yeah, more parenting! We need to do more parenting. So… how do we do that? Have more kids?

ok, it’s a bit harsh/direct – but could you please share your “threaded view” modification for the arthemia (free) theme? I’m trying to get it to work properly but right now i have some issues… The only reward i can offer right now is a link back to your blog… And i would be very thankful for your help!
