What’s to be done with this Jesus?

April 12, 2009 |  by cool dad  |  the Life

At church tonight, our pastor said something that I loved. I don’t remember if he quoted someone, paraphrased, or wrote it himself, but it sums up Easter in a powerful and exciting way. My unelegant paraphrase:

He was arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced. He suffered the full brunt of the cruelty of the Roman Empire through crucifixion.

And He came back from the dead. What can you do with such a person? Nothing.

God is running wild throughout the world, doing as He pleases. Nothing can stop Him. That’s our God.

Heck yeah and Happy Easter!
