I’m not much of a makeup person. Cool Dad jokes that the 10-day free sample I got of a powder foundation may last me all year!
Other than laziness and cost, one of the reasons I don’t wear foundation on my face is because I’m wondering if it will end up smeared on Cool Baby or Cool Dad. And thinking about all the weird chemicals that go into the stuff, do I really want CB getting it on his face or mouth when he plants one on me?
Any thoughts on this, ladies?

Wow, I never thought about it like that! I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I do wear it. It doesn’t tend to stay on, so by the time I get back home to my kiddo, I guess it’s not really an issue.
I don’t know – if you’re confident enough to go without, then I say go without! Probably should still wear sunscreen, though. I mean, I don’t. But I read that in magazines.

i wear all mineral make-up. i feel pretty good about that.
thing is…there are no makeup rules. doesnt matter if you wear it or not. but if you do, it is good to make the healthiest choices you can.
that’s true! make-up is troublesome but it does make u more beautiful. sigh.

I’m not a lady, BUT… Just FYI, here in Paris no one wears makeup, unless it is a BIG EVENT. Its amazing to see some of the most beautiful women on the metro with frazzled hair and un made-up faces. We just would never see that back in Oklahoma. Truth be told, it’s pretty awesome. My vote, go au natural, I am quite confident that God made you very beautiful without ANY help… Just ask Cooldad, I know he’d agree.

mary–the powder foundation i’m trying has sunscreen, so i tell myself if i wear it, i get that too!

for the record, CM needs no makeup at all. she’s beautiful. but if she wants to wear it, then i’m all for it, too.
cool dad sounds sooo diplomatic…but my hip hubby would say the same thing…
I don’t wear much make-up either…however, since I’m a red head w/ fair skin I use a moisturizer w/ sunscreen and I use mascara daily…otherwise I look as if I don’t have eyelashes. Sometimes, I wear lip gloss…but that’s about it here. If I go out on a date with hubby or to a meeting I might do a little more but not much.
