Tonight is the beginning of that time of year that annoys Cool Mum: TV-watching season. Ironically, another one of CM’s trying times – college football season – just ended this past Thursday. I guess she never gets a break.
I only follow a few shows, and one of them is returning after a year and a half off. Yes, Jack Bauer violently bursts into our tiny living room as 24 starts Season 7.
24 has been uneven for me the past few seasons. I remember when it first came out, FOX hyped it heavily during the baseball playoffs. I was intrigued by the real-time concept, and it did not disappoint. I was enthralled by the action and suspense and Jack Bauer’s gritty voice and superhuman bladder.
But by Season 5, the plot lines seemed rehashed, along with the characters. After last year’s writers strike, I think they’ve finally rebooted the show. I’m looking forward to seeing how they do it.

Hey, CD. I’m not a fan of 24…but only because I’ve never watched it. I’m pretty sure that when the day comes that I get 24 on DVD…I’ll love it!
I’ve read that this new season is going to be awesome…enjoy!

I have not gotten into this show either but I have heard it is good. Not many shows I watch now except some George Lopez re-runs, which is a pretty funny show.
We do generally watch the Eagles play on the weekends, and were happy with their win yesterday, very exciting game. We’ll watch football through the Super Bowl.
