To-oes, praise Him!

(the post title is sung to the melody “O Praise Him” by David Crowder Band)

Last week, we got the Cool Grand ‘Rents to ship some of our stuff up from Florida. Included in this much-needed care package (is it still a care package when it’s your stuff?):

- Toys for the boy. He had been playing with our clothes and various pieces of food that he’d rather play with than eat.
- Dress shirts, pants, shoes. I actually have a job interview on Tuesday!
- Hair clippers and scissors. I am badly needing a haircut. CM can resume her role as my personal Cool Stylist. I was not going to pay $14+tip for a quick trim.

And the stars of the care package:

My flip-flops! The feet have been banished to the dark confines of socks and shoes for the past week and a half (when I’m out, of course). Now they can live free and oxygenated, just like they should be! Ahh…

I agree with “tam” – it’s definitely a care package. A much-needed, happily-anticipated, care package. Glad the boy has toys. Anything for CM in that package?? Looking forward to hearing how the interview went…
