First it was the whining-slash-roaring. Then, came the stamping when he didn’t get his way. Finally, a piece of fruit sealed the deal.
We believe that Cool Baby is actually Donkey Kong. Well, at least Donkey Kong, Jr.
We must name the next boy Mario and accept the Jacob-and-Esau-like struggle that will ensue.
Wait, if he’s Donkey Kong, Jr., what does that make me?…

Our oldest daughter tried this in the middle of the store with my hubby. She had been doing it at home and we were frazzled about it. This time Ron had had enough and as she threw herself down kicking and screaming, he slipped around the corner and waited. When she saw that Dad was not there to see it but there were others who did, she got up and started calling for him. Of course he was right there watching around the corner. She never did it again at home or in public.
