We got to our friend’s building on the Upper East Side around 5:30 pm yesterday. Hot, sweaty, exhausted, I lugged our luggage (so that’s where that word comes from) to her 3rd floor apartment. We are SO thankful to God and her for letting us stay here through the long weekend!!
We have 3 days to find a place cheap enough to not require us selling our first-born. Otherwise, we’d have to rename the blog We’re Not Cool (For Selling The Boy). I like AWSC better than WNC(FSTB) anyway.
This morning, we scoured Craigslist and other classifieds sites, but no luck. For a break, we went to Central Park. The boy was happy to just get out of the Computer Lab (when both CM and I both have laptops set up).
He and CM are napping right now while I should probably resume scouring the Internet for that one special place. Anyone have some swamp land in Jersey they’re subletting?
