OK, finally back from our out-of-town camp/conference thingy and yesterday, it happened. The sore throat. I promise that this won’t be another week of “sick” posts. However, I want to say that I try my best to keep my hands washed and steer clear of anyone hacking or sneezing about the place.
However, when my roommate start getting sick, I had a sinking feeling. I tried doubly hard to keep healthy habits, but someone as lazy and undisciplined as myself can I only last so long.
CM just said “I hate these camps. You always get sick.” She’s right. Ironically, I don’t get sick until after I get home, which I guess is good. It would ruin my time there and put a wrench in any ministry opportunities I have.
Big decisions being made here, so we would appreciate prayer if you would be so kind! Also, anyone up for chatting tonight??

Welcome back! I am just sitting here wondering if that little uncomfortableness in my throat/chest is me getting sick after our little vacation, too. It’s likely. So, I feel your pain!
And we’re around for a chat, but get your rest if you need it!
OJ is my only defense again the dark arts….
praying now friends.
and yes. would LOVE to chat tonight! but like amy said, rest comes first!
Amy and Tam are NUTZ… You can rest plenty when you’re dead. CHAT ON BROTHA! I was nearly hospitalized last week from CoolChat withdrawal… I dont think I could make it through week 2 (and dont you dare pull out Phillipians 4:13)
So anyway, I am glad you’re back man! The same thing happens to me everytime I travel. Warm salt water, lemon juice and gallons of Nyquil will kill anything.
mocha – keep our mental state out of this!
cd – if its any consolation, i get travel tummy. not fun! but i think i would still chat on…
amy – i hope you can fight it off! i’m trying my best.
randy – i’ve been popping the Vitamin C like candy
tam – thanks! see you tonight
mocha – looking forward to saving you a trip to the hospital again this week!
I’m back from Utah and I’m ready to chat
Mocha, you called me out. I was just trying not to appear too desperate.
