What are you stoked about?

This morning consisted of yardwork at 6:30 AM, packing, and some driving. Now, CM is partying, CB is napping, and I’m racking my brain to compose a meaningful and funny blog post. Sorry — after this week, the brain’s empty.

So, I said that I would ask this from time to time: What are you stoked about? As in, what are you are really looking forward to?

I’m stoked about the possibility of new beginnings in possibly even far-from-here places! Such a tease of a statement, I know. I guess my future is teasing me. I look forward to hearing what’s tantalizing you all!

For me right now it’s the fact that I just started over again.

New town, New people, no strings, no girlfriend (maybe soon)…

The doors are open and the possibilities are really unlimited. I know good things are coming, and good things are going to happen.

The part I’m stoked about is that I don’t really know what is going to happen, but I know I’m going to like it…

I’m stoked about our daughter starting kindergarten in a world that is completely foreign to us and our “community” – public school. We are excited about the opportunities for us to minister outside the bubble and to be counter-cultural, and about the educational opportunities for her.

The current source of my stokage seems to be similar to the last time I recall you guys asking this question of us.

On Thursday, a Cool Guy and I will be driving to Colorado to see my best friend! I seriously don’t know if I can hold it together for the next few days of work.

And I am stoked because I finally watched the movie “Once” and am now an addict of the Swell Season and The Frames.

    =)
