For today’s Positive Post, I want to lift up this form of fellowship that’s been uplifting to us: blogging.
In my recent post about our upcoming interview with Brody, I typed this line:
He’s passionate about blogging not just for business, but all the possibilities for friendship, collaboration, and ministry that it offers.
Looking back on it, I was like, “That’s a sweet line!” and proceeded to strain my shoulder patting myself on the back.
When we started this blog last year, I had no idea how this would affect me personally. First, I continually thought about what I could post about. Then we talked about different blogs we stumbled upon and who commented what. Now, we have a pretty good knowledge of what’s going on in our blog friends’ lives.
Like Lauren and Jack moved to Chicago. Kat’s on vacation. Randy’s moving to Nashville. Amber & Seth are in Kentucky this summer. The Inmans moved to California. And a lot more.
Yeah, it’s easy to know this stuff because they post about it. But the difference is that I care. I want to see them do well and be happy and I want to know how it all goes.
Maybe that makes me a weirdo for following these people that I’ve never met, but I LOVE stories. I’m fascinated by the journeys of people’s lives. Especially when those people love God and acknowledge His power and love throughout. And I get to follow these stories all thanks to these wonderful little weblogs.
So, blog on, blog friends. We’re listening.

it makes you a sweet weirdo. some would die for that title!
I absolutly agree with everything, I feel the same way. Kinda weird at times because I feel like maybe I know to much about someone Ive never really met, but I would love to go out and have lunch with a lot of people I read about.
