I’m sorry to ruin the world’s Monday evening, but there will be no official Cool Chat tonight at 9:00 PM EST.
Been traveling since 4:30 AM and finally have some wireless internet and time to sit still. Ah… Here’s a running joke with my friends: we walk into somewhere with wi-fi and like Neo from The Matrix, I exclaim that I “can feel the Internet.” [-5 cool points]
Now that I think about it, if you happen to be online tonight, follow my Twitter, and wanna chat — I bet I can wrangle up some chatting time on here.
It was getting perilous toward the end, but I’m impressed that I made it a good 15 hours without the ol’ WWW. Well, I jumped on my friend’s iPhone (not literally – his brain would fall out from the shock) and checked a little email, but that doesn’t count.
I think I know the answer, but am I the only geek around here who misses the Internet more the longer I’m away from it? Or are you able to break free from its webby grasp?

I do get a little too attached to the convenience of the Internet. I had a few power outages today and got a little lost for things to do (as I need the Net for work)…and the Blackberry for those urgent emails….hmmmm yes…I do….kinda
