I hadn’t heard of Embrace until a friend loaned me their 2005 Out of Nothing album. Embrace is Brit pop/rock – heavy on the U2 and Coldplay influence.
I’ve been wanting to get into some different genres of music, but I was just wired to love the Brit sound. It’s ear candy to me.
The first track “Ashes” is phenomenal. I’ve listened to it several times since buying it this morning. Driving, then soaring, it makes me want to write an action movie just to use the song during the climactic battle and victory.
