Interacting with you all is great fun. The comments are good for one-liners. Still feeling out Twitter, but I like the quick shout-outs. Now, we’d like to take the next step.

If the bigwigs can go to Uganda, why can’t us midwigs meet up in Dubuque or Billings to knock out some quilts for a good cause?
Actually, that’s false. But what about chatting?
What about picking out an hour or so to converge here and have a good old chat? Like the old days?
Except we’re all over the country/world. And can’t see or smell each other. And you can’t tell if someone is making a circle with their index finger next to their head insinuating that I’m crazy.
I think I found a cool way to make this happen, but I need to know if anyone is up for it. Please comment whether you’d like to do this and when a good time of day would be.

So how are you planning to do this chatting thing? Or is that a “wait for the next post for explanation”?
I’m looking into options to have a live “chat room” on the blog. And it’ll be active for just an hour whenever we pick a good time and date for everyone.
I think it’ll be pretty fun – assuming that we’re not just all boring people when it comes to real-time talking!
I’d love to try it. I could do it virtually anytime, so I won’t limit the calendar for you.

I think it’d be neat, but I don’t have a free day from here until eternity. Or at least sometime in May haha. So don’t plan around me! But if I can jump in when it happens I will.

I just laughed out loud at the knitting convention info…mind you, I have attended knitting parties before (in livings rooms, not Motel 8/laundry rooms). In the words of Los…noshameinmygame.
I know I’m a few days late on the bandwagon here…but if I were to join a live chat with you all, it’d be best if it were evening (after 5p CST). Maybe a Monday or Tuesday night…or a Sunday afternoon/evening would work.
