Last night, we had just put Baby to bed and I walk by Cool Mum and glance at what she’s reading on the computer. I see “Child Spacing” at the top of the page. Whaaa???
And then soon afterwards, I’m innocently sitting on the couch when she asks, “How many children do we want to have?” This is the same woman who would slap me in her thoughts when I jokingly asked about the next baby during the throes of morning sickness last year.
What. The heck.
Haven’t commented in a while, so I thought I’d stop in. This post made me laugh, most certainly. I just had that conversation with my best friend (who has a 2.5 week old baby girl).
It was a paradigm shift for me because so much had gone into and lead up to the arrival of their girl that it didn’t occur to me that they would want another child. haha So maybe in a few years.
